2024 Water Rates

15-225  Rates within the city limits for single family residential customers, commercial customers, churches, lodges and clubs with 5/8" water meter:

(a) The minimum charge shall be $18.73 and include no water usage;
(b) For the first 2,000 gallons or fraction thereof a charge of $4.59 for each 1,000 gallons;
(c) For the next 8,000 gallons or a fraction thereof a charge of $5.10 for each 1,000 gallons;
(d) For all additional water used each month a charge of $5.61 for each 1,000 gallons.

15-225.1  Rates for water service outside the corporate limits for single family residential customers, commercial customers, churches, lodges and                        clubs with 5/8" water meter:

(a) The minimum charge shall be $30.09 and include no water usage;
(b) For the first 2,000 gallons or fraction thereof a charge of $6.69 for each 1,000 gallons;
(c) For the next 8,000 gallons or a fraction thereof a charge of $7.14 for each 1,000 gallons;
(d) For all additional water used each month a charge of $7.65 for each 1,000 gallons.

12-225.2  Rates within the corporate limits for multi-residential customers and multi-commercial customers with a 5/8" water meter:

(a) The minimum charge shall be $18.36 and include no water usage;
(b) For the first 2,000 gallons or fraction thereof a charge of $4.59 for each 1,000 gallons;
(c) For the next 8,000 gallons or a fraction thereof a charge of $5.10 for each 1,000 gallons;
(d) For all additional water used each month a charge of $5.61 for each 1,000 gallons.

12-225.3  Rates within the corporate limits for multi-residential customers and commercial or institutional customers with a 2" water meter:

(a) The minimum charge shall be $60.18 and include no water usage;
(b) For the first 2,000 gallons or fraction thereof a charge of $4.59 for each 1,000 gallons;
(c) For the next 8,000 gallons or a fraction thereof a charge of $5.10 for each 1,000 gallons;
(d) For all additional water used each month a charge of $5.61 for each 1,000 gallons.

2024 Sewer Rates 

15-428 Rates within the corporate limits for residential customers, churches, lodges and clubs: The rates per month for the use of the sewer system shall be based on the monthly water use as follows:

(a) The minimum charge shall be $26.01 per month which includes no water usage. For each 1,000 gallons or a fraction thereof used a charge of $5.99 for each 1,000 gallons.
(b) For any multi-amily residences, apartments, mobile home parks, a minimum charge of $26.01 per dwelling unit per month which includes no water usage. For each 1,000 gallons or a fraction thereof used a charge of $5.99 for each 1,000 gallons.

15-428.1  Rates within the corporate limits for commercial customers except as provided in 15-428.2. The rates per month for the use of the sewer system shall be based on the monthly water use as follows:

(a)  All commercial customers that have a monthly water use of 0 - 25,000 gallons a minimum charge of $26.01 per month which does not include any water usage. For each 1,000 gallons for a fraction thereof used a charge of $5.99 for each 1,000 gallons.
(b) All commercial customers that have a monthly water use of  25,000 gallons or more a minimum charge of $52.02 per month which does not include any water usage. For each 1,000 gallons for a fraction thereof used a charge of $5.99 for each 1,000 gallons.

15-428.2  Rates within the corporate limits for certain other commercial customers. The rates per month for the use of the sewer system shall be based on the monthly water use as follows:

(a) For all locker plants a minimum charge of $166.47 per month which includes no water usage. For the first 1,000 gallons or a fraction thereof a charge of $5.99 for each 1,000 gallons.
(b) For all high schools a minimum charge of $353.74 per month which includes no water usage. For the first 1,000 gallons or a fraction thereof a charge of $5.99 or each 1,000 gallons.
(c) For all hospitals a minimum charge of $182.07 per month which includes no water usage. For the first 1,000 gallons or a fraction thereof a charge of $5.99 for each 1,000 gallons.
(d) For all long term care facilities a/k/a geriatric centers a minimum charge of $353.74 per month which includes no water usage. For the first 1,000 gallons or a fraction thereof a charge of $5.99 for each 1,000 gallons.

15-428.3  Rates for sewer service outside the corporate limits for residential customers, churches, lodges and clubs. The rates per month for the use of the sewer system shall be based on the monthly water use as follows:

(a)  The minimum charge of $52.02 per month which includes no water usage. For the first 1,000 gallons or a fraction thereof a charge of $7.03 for each 1,000 gallons.
